“The Top 250 Women in IP” is part of the IP Stars rankings published by the prestigious Managing Intellectual Property magazine
Albagli Zaliasnik Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property Group, Ariela Agosin, was named among only three Chilean women included in “The Top 250 Women in IP” list published by the prestigious IP Stars ranking of Managing Intellectual Property magazine, whose results were released at the beginning of May.
This is the first year in which the ranking takes into consideration female lawyers from around the world and not just the United States. The research process lasted approximately four months (from November 2015 until February 2016) and these professionals were chosen on the basis of their expertise in “handling a broad range of IP work, including legal advice, litigation, prosecution and portfolio management” as well as the size and prominence of their clients.
“It’s a great honor to receive such a recognition by the IP Stars ranking, especially because it is a recognition by my colleagues and clients who are the ones interviewed by Managing Intellectual Property,” commented the partner from AZ, Ariela Agosin.
This distinction comes as an addition to the one from February when the ranking of IP practices by the same magazine was published. According to it, AZ stands out as one of the best in Intellectual Property matters in Chile especially in the areas of Trademark and Patent Litigation.
