Darío Romero

Darío is an associate, and leads the firm’s tax practice as Director of the Tax Department.

His legal practice focuses on tax planning and tax consulting regarding direct and indirect taxation –both at the corporate and personal levels– as well as representing taxpayers before the local tax authorities, tax litigation, and providing legal opinions in tax matters.

He is experienced in international taxation, the application of double taxation treaties, foreign investment structuring, corporate restructuring, acquisitions and sales of companies, the restructuring of family assets, and the application of tax benefits.

He has participated as a professor and a speaker in several courses and seminars regarding taxation and investment.
