We share the interview with our partner, Jorge Arredondo, for Radio Futuro, where he gave a balance one year after the implementation of the 40 Hours Law and discussed the failed Good Friday holiday.
In a new program of Radio Futuro’s “Mercado Futuro”, Antonio Quinteros spoke with our partner Jorge Arredondo, to take stock one year after the implementation of the 40 Hours Law, among other contingent issues in the labor field.
Jorge addressed the practical and legal challenges brought about by the implementation of the 40-Hour Law, the impact of the Karin Law on the current whistleblower culture, and the debate on workers’ acquired rights, all in the context of who can – and who cannot – work this Good Friday (April 18), following the failed legislative attempt to declare it a non-waivable holiday.
