Jorge Arredondo leads the Labor Group of our firm.
Jorge Arredondo is responsible for leading the advice to our clients in labor matters — such as collective bargaining processes, labor problems that affect clients or companies, evaluation of labor contingencies derived from merger or acquisition processes—, litigating before labor courts and superiors of justice, among other actions.

Relevant EXPERIENCE
Advising a food company due to a lawsuit filed by a former employee, who was claiming benefits and severance pay after being terminated for just cause.
Counseling negotiations with unions to ensure a minimum of operations in case of strike.
Representation of a company engaged in the import, processing and commercialization of hydrocarbons that requested advice to conduct a complex internal investigation following a complaint filed by a labor union.
Counsel to a global mining company with presence in industries such as health, food, technology and clean energy, requested support in the implementation of the obligations established by a new law related to the prevention of workplace harassment, sexual harassment and workplace violence.
Counseling in labor litigation of varying complexity, assuming the defense of the company against lawsuits filed both by its own workers, as well as by external workers alleging the existence of alleged subcontracting regimes.
Ongoing corporate advice to a company in the review of labor instruments, such as contracts, annexes and severance payments, as well as support in collective bargaining processes with unions.
