The law firm Albagli Zaliasnik (az) announced the addition of lawyers Tomás Zaliasnik, Elisa Elgueta, and Catalina Díaz, three new associates who will join the Public Law and Regulated Markets, Civil Litigation and Arbitration, and Labor Law departments, thereby strengthening its team and expanding its capacity to respond to market challenges.
Tomás joins the Public Law and Regulated Markets Group, concentrating his practice in the area of Energy and Natural Resources, with a focus on the processing of electricity concessions and the development of high-impact sustainable projects.
He is a lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes, with a major in Environmental Law and a minor in Ecology and Environment, and has participated in initiatives related to the financing and regulation of energy projects.
Elisa joins the Public Law and Regulated Markets and Civil Litigation and Arbitration Groups. Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, including free competition and regulatory matters.
She holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. Her experience includes representing companies in complex disputes before national and international courts, ICSID arbitrations, and international reorganization proceedings.
Finally, Catalina joins az.’s Labor Group. Her practice focuses on labor law, with an emphasis on labor litigation and corporate advisory services.
She is a lawyer from the University of Chile and has been with the firm since 2021, where she previously served as a paralegal. She has experience in handling labor cases and designing procedural strategies for the efficient resolution of conflicts in different productive sectors.
