At the annual Pro Bono Foundation event, held on Wednesday, October 25, Albagli Zaliasnik received the award as “Law Firm of the Year” of Pro Bono in Chile.
This category highlights the continuing effort that the Firm shows by promoting access to justice, pro bono hours of work, good practices to encourage legal volunteering and cases of high complexity that our Firm takes on.
“We are very happy and proud to receive this recognition, this nourishes the soul. For us it’s a real privilege to be able to do pro bono work, to do it with quality and commitment. It’s a great achievement for AZ’s lawyers” said Ariela Agosin, a partner at AZ.
The foundation thanked for the commitment and the value provided by its legal volunteers, more than 40 law firms and member companies, as well as individual lawyers and notaries (www.probono.cl).
We congratulate Daniela Hirsch, our pro bono coordinator, and all the lawyers and attorneys of AZ for their great social commitment and willingness to collaborate, contribute and work on these types of causes.
It should be noted that, AZ is one of the founding members of Pro Bono Foundation and part of its Advisory Board represented by our partner Gabriel Zaliasnik. At AZ, we have had the opportunity to develop the Pro Bono & Community program, which aims to provide free legal advice to individuals and organizations without profit. These initiatives have allowed us to support the community by providing our services with the seal that characterizes us, a work that has given us great recognition as well as the pride of contributing to society.
