The document is a practical and strategic resource that presents the regulatory frameworks of 18 jurisdictions in Latin America, the United States, and Spain.
The guide not only contains the legislation or advances that each country may have, but also maps the challenges, lessons learned, and best practices in the field.
The webinar launching the guide was moderated by Leon Weinstok, Director at BLP (a member firm of the platform), and featured presentations by Felipe Godoy Correa, Legal Country Lead at Accenture Chile; Valentina Schmohl, IT and Business Transformation Manager at Securitas Chile; Macarena Lopez, IT, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Legal Manager at Falabella; and Daniel Soto, Deputy Cybersecurity Manager at CGE.
During the webinar, the experts emphasized that cybersecurity should drive business forward, not hold it back, highlighting the need for integrated work between technology, legal, and C-level teams, as well as an organizational culture that promotes digital risk management and regulatory compliance.
