Radio Duna | Economic Crimes Law

May 18, 2023

Our Compliance group director, Francisca Franzani, was interviewed by Radio Duna to discuss the main points of the Economic Crimes Law that was passed this week by the Chamber of Deputies.

The bill proposes a considerable expansion in the catalog of crimes for which a legal entity may be liable, with a list that includes more than 100 different types of crimes.

It also implies consequences of serious penalties and effective prison sentences with a more limited range of modifying circumstances.

Check his statements starting at minute 00:13:20.
