The law firm Albagli Zaliasnik (az) announced the appointment of attorney Jocelyn Aros as new director of the Labor Group, highlighting her extensive experience and trajectory in the field of labor and social security law.

With a solid academic background – lawyer from the Universidad de Chile, Master in Labor and Social Security Law from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and a diploma in Litigation from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile – Jocelyn Aros has consolidated a career focused on providing comprehensive advice to companies in various sectors.

“This appointment reinforces az’s commitment to provide a service of excellence and trust, consolidating the labor group as a reference and leader in these matters, valuing the work done by the internal talent of the organization,” said Jorge Arredondo, partner of the area.

Since joining az as a senior associate in 2020, Aros has led highly complex cases, such as litigation for anti-union practices, fundamental rights violations, and collective bargaining during challenging contexts such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, she has a comprehensive approach to labor compliance, due diligence, and training for companies in areas such as remuneration and fundamental rights.

His professional experience includes roles in important institutions such as Codelco in the divisions of Distrito Norte and the law firm Lizama Abogados, which reinforces his profile as a reference in the industry.

He has also developed an outstanding teaching career as an assistant professor of Labor Law at Clínica Jurídica, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2023).

“Assuming the leadership of Albagli Zaliasnik’s Labor Group is a challenge that I receive with great pride and commitment. I look forward to continue strengthening the team and accompanying our clients in an increasingly challenging regulatory scenario,” commented Jocelyn.
