Acción Empresas and Albagli Zaliasnik develop webinar series on the new Data Protection Law

Feb 10, 2025

We invite you to relive the cycle of webinars carried out together with Acción Empresa on the application and implementation of the new Personal Data Law.

With the aim of deepening the application and implementation of the new Personal Data Law, Acción Empresas and the law firm Albagli Zaliasnik (az) organized a series of webinars aimed at organizations from different industries.

The sessions, held on January 22 and 29, featured presentations by az Tech’s director, Ivonne Bueno, together with the senior associate of az’s IP, Tech and Data group, Antonia Nudman.

A theoretical analysis of the regulations

During the first day, the fundamentals of personal data protection were addressed, including the general principles, the new obligations for organizations and the law’s sanctioning regime.

This allowed the participants to understand the scope of the new regulation that will come into force in December 2026.

Case studies and comparative experience

The second session complemented these contents through a practical approach, exploring concrete cases in Chile and the European Union.

The attendees received strategies for the effective implementation of the regulations in order to mitigate risks and infringements.

It is important to note that this module is part of the Cycle of training talks on good organizational practices that will continue to be developed during 2025.

This initiative seeks to enable companies to anticipate and be prepared to comply with the new legal and regulatory requirements.
