Our partners Álvaro Rosenblut and Antonio Rubilar, Legal & Business Director Stephanie Cruz, Senior Associate Macarena Waidele, and Associate Nicolás Zaliasnik from the Corporate and Business Group participated in a new edition of the Annual Conference organized by the International Bar Association (IBA).
The event, which is one of the most important in the legal industry, was held in Toronto, Canada, from November 2 to 8 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
It was an opportunity to address innovative trends, share experiences with clients, and forge collaborative links with different players in the sector.
In addition, Stephanie Cruz, who is Co-Vice Chair of the IBA Pro Bono Committee, co-moderated two panels organized by the committee.
Our director participated in the following panels:
- Justice by Algorithm: Can AI Deliver on the Promise of Equal Access?.
- The International Bar Association pro bono declaration revisited – keeping pro bono ethical”.
During the week, our team also attended a complementary activity where they met with members of the Compliance Latam platform.
This was a key opportunity to continue building collaborative networks, promote the exchange of best practices, and consolidate a solid and cross-cutting culture of compliance.
